Red Biscuit is all about stories, so here is mine

Where it all began…

The honest answer is my dad. I grew up with someone more inquisitive than anyone you’ll ever meet. A man who could find genuine interest in almost anything and who was always open to perspectives outside his own.

Because of this, he could (and still does) talk for hours about what might seem like the dullest topic in the world. But his passion and storytelling made every word feel captivating.

Without realising it, that curiosity and love of storytelling rubbed off on me, and it’s been the thread running through everything I’ve done since.

Turning curiosity into a career

That belief that storytelling can make even the “dullest” subject worth listening to is what pulled me towards marketing. I realised that the brands who stand out aren’t the ones who just talk, but actually have something meaningful to say.

I started out working in B2B marketing agencies, learning the ropes across everything from brand strategy to lead generation. But I was always drawn to the thinking behind the doing. Over time, strategy became my focus.

And looking back, it was really the same instinct my dad sparked in me: to keep asking questions, to look deeper and to find the story that makes people want to listen.

Through the course of my career, I kept seeing the same problem time and time again. Brands shouting to be heard, but struggling to prove why they mattered.

That’s where the idea for Red Biscuit came from. A thought leadership agency built to help B2B brands lead with expertise – not noise.

Today, we turn brand positioning into real growth, using smart storytelling, sharp marketing strategies and content that actually connects with humans not numbers.
